Azteca Systems has designed a software application that is based on open technology and supports a best-of-class philosophy allowing our customers the unique ability to select Cityworks for their asset and maintenance management system while not being locked out of their data and locked into mandatory solutions for related business systems.
Cityworks users are free to access the Cityworks data structures to create reports and free to interface to other databases. Our customers can even create their own applications that access their Cityworks data. Our licensing policy does not prohibit this in any way. We believe in open systems and open technology - your data working for you, because key to using the systems you want in a cohesive environment is the ability for these applications to communicate easily and openly.
The Cityworks data model is key to retrieving data for reports and in developing applications that enhance the capability of your system. CityworksFM data models are available at no charge to customers and interested third parties*. Additionally, Azteca Systems supports the user of third-party integrators to assist our clients with sophisticated integrations.
